"The NBC Universal Television Group will broadcast a benefit on January 15th to raise funds for the victims of the tsunami in Southern Asia. The hour-long program will feature Sheryl Crow, Christina Aquilera, and Tim McGraw and will air across NBC's broadcast and cable channels, which include USA Networks, Bravo, Trio, SCI FI, MSNBC, and CNBC. Boy George and Sir Cliff Richard
Boy George, Sir Cliff Richard, Ronan Keating, Jamie Cullum, Chris Rea, Robin and Barry Gibb, Olivia Newton-John, and opera singer Russell Watson have all been approached to record a charity single for the victims of the Asian tsunami disaster. Radio DJ Mike Read wrote the song, ´Grief Never Grows Old.´ The musical recording is expected to raise £2m for the relief efforts.

Leo DiCaprio and UNICEF
"The Aviator" start Leonardo DiCaprio donated an undisclosed amount to UNICEF to aid the victims of the tsunami in Southern Asia. DiCaprio filmed "The Beach" on Thailand's Phi Phi island. He also placed a link on his website to accept donations.
