Church World Service (CWS)

Church World Service (CWS) is the relief, development, and refugee assistance ministry of 36 Protestant, Orthodox, and Anglican denominations in the United States. CWS emergency response teams are in Sri Lanka assisting in the distribution of shelter and other materials and to assess further emergency needs. CWS has launched a $5 million public fundraising campaign for victims of the Southern Asia tsunami disaster.
